Versatile jokester Kristen Schaal might be best recognized for her roles as wide-eyed stalker Mel on Flight of the Conchords and the senior women’s issues correspondent on The Daily Show. But maybe that’s trying to put too fine a point on the fattest pointer in the world: Schaal is one of the least pigeon-holed broads in the business. She performed key roles in Toy Story 3 and Dinner for Schmucks. Maybe you caught her on Mad Men or Modern Family. Her stand-up act has garnered lots of industry awards and gigs all around this big blue marble. She hands out silly, surreal stories and nerdy ironies with a sweet, high voice and a measured pace.
