San Francisco's favorite flannel-clad alt-rock party, the illustrious Debaser, is set to don its own kind of costume for Halloween 2010: the guise of a proper early-'90s Manchester rave. With the help of UK expat and veteran DJ Chris Orr (the man behind the new Public Works club and Pirate Cat Radio's Biscuit Wheels broadcast), Debaser's resident mixmasters Jamie Jams, EmDee, and Stab Master Arson will transform the city's go-to rock DJ party into a dancefloor extravaganza à la Factory Records' infamous nightclub, the Hacienda. So, S.F. rockers, it's time to do it like New Order and Happy Mondays: Trade in your chains for glowsticks, ditch your whiskey for pills, and head over to 111 Minna — this Halloween is a trip back to the heyday of dance music.
