"I have seen grown journalists in tears," says Phil Liggett, "because they're frightened to death going down the mountains in a car." The world's most famous cycling announcer is visible for once, only one of the many behind-the-scenes treats of Chasing Legends, a new documentary about the Tour (need we add "de France?") Also included are seated, non-race interviews with the likes of George Hincapie, Jens Voight, and Mark Cavendish, plus coaches, organizers, and more. Tonight's screenings and happy hours benefit the San Francisco AIDS LifeCycle and Greater Than 1.
