Blind Spot

What’s that? You say you didn’t ask for a one-woman show about lesbians, Palestine, and juggling? Well, the Marsh is giving it to you anyway, courtesy of confirmed genius Sara Felder. You’re welcome. Felder, a solo performance artist, narrates the story of a nearly-blind mother and her queer daughter who attempt to “see” each other as they negotiate their disparate perspectives on the Israel-Palestinian conflict. She employs circus tricks and shadow puppets, undergirded by a Jewish queer sensibility. The play illustrates the challenges in balancing family loyalty and social justice.
Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays. Starts: Jan. 13. Continues through Feb. 13, 2011
