Because of a budget shortfall, city officials are tightening traffic regulations and have told parking cops to issue more tickets. What can people now be ticketed for?

• Failure not just to "observe" a stop sign, but to really look at it and take it in

• Thinking about answering a cellphone

• Parking in a parking zone

• Not bicycling righteously enough

• Flatulence

• Texting while driving, walking, or leaning

• Even considering a towaway zone

• Laughing at people on Muni

• Failure to parallel park "like you mean it"
