Make Her Express How She Feels

This person, this Kimo, owns Madonna outright. The mortgage is paid in full; it’s over. The drag mini-biopic-musicale “20 Years of Madonna in 20 Minutes” has become justly famous and adored for its careful track mix, for its backup dancers, for the willingness of Kimo to hop around on one high-heeled foot while stepping into weird bustier after weird bustier, and of course, for the sheer number of wigs involved. So, ownership. At tonight’s Trannyshack Madonna Tribute Night, which finds DJ Adrian playing all Madonna all night and Vis-à-Vis projecting visuals, Kimo’s routine provides another important service. The other performers, including Trannyshack doyenne Heklina, Exhibit Q., Kim Burly, Miss Rahni, Holy McGrail, Jordan L’Moore, Ambrosia Salad, Lindsay Slowhands, and Precious Moments, are freed up to be as interesting as possible. Creative drag is pretty much the name of the game at Trannyshack, and with Kimo getting everything even remotely normal out of the way (Madonna drag can be very, very normal, which is lovely but not ’Shack.), everyone else can just express themselves.
