Lets get one thing out of the way: Vancougar was a band long before anyone even knew older women were so successful with younger men. Even so, the bands four rocker chicks still dont qualify as older women yet theres no joke to be made here; keep moving. The bands CD Canadian Tuxedo is full of catchy, loud, garage-influenced pop; its sweet, fast, and bouncy. Vancougars sound is the result of frontwoman Eden Finedays unquenchable thirst for rock as well as the always-surprising strength of her vocals. Becca Stewart, Megan Johnson, and CC Rose back her up ferociously; their look is something like the Runaways grew up but never sold out, or the mad Donnas.
