Truth Is Beauty, Beauty Truth

At “The ArtOfficial Truth,” local artist Chor Boogie curates a huge big gang of visual artists — 26 of them. It’s a street-art smorgasbord, an international yet largely local trove of intensely talented makers. One of our favorites is Yiying Lu, who designed the Fail Whale for Twitter; another is Pablo Cristi, who participated in SF Weekly’s Masterminds art competition this year. Filmmakers, glass artists, stencilers, muralists, and more contribute. “Art always speaks the truth,” Boogie writes, and if that’s true, this is the place to see a lot of the beautiful kind.
