Face to Face: Show Preview

Of all the melodic punk bands to emerge in the mid-'90s, Face to Face remains one of the most valuable. It's ironic then, that the highly-respected SoCal quartet is also one of the most widely overlooked — a factor that led to its split in 2003. Thankfully, the band returned last month with seventh album Laugh Now, Laugh Later, and delighted fans by sounding as driven, anthemic, and distinctive as ever. With Fat Wreck Chords punks Strung Out in tow for this tour, Face to Face promises to bring a nostalgiafest for old-school fans, but will no doubt offer up plenty for new kids to learn from.
