I live in the neighborhood. I can't speak to the friendliness of the bar, as I avoid it like the plague. I CAN speak to the hostility of one of the owners. Apparently there are two, and the one Marina-esque "dude" is NOT pleasant. As someone who has had to deal with the obnoxious Zeki's crowd that drunkenly hoots and hollers outside my window as well as regularly subjected to the loud bass of pop music emanating from the bar, I find the lack of consideration (and openly hostile attitude) from that owner to be appalling. He refuses to acknowledge his bar is causing a nuisance, and instead likes to insist I (and my neighbors) can't possibly hear anything. Wait, what? I suppose it makes perfect sense that a neighbor would want to get up, get dressed and walk through an obnoxious drunken crowd to ask the owner to turn the music down for no reason. Yep.In short: friendliest bar in town? Perhaps to the those that don't live nearby, but not to those who do. I look forward to the day they're shut down. It'll be nice not to have their drunken customers peeing under my window.
