If you had any doubt that DJs have become rock stars, witness this current concert tour with L.A.-based DJ Z-Trip (Zach Sciacca), fresh off a residency of spinning at a high-profile Las Vegas nightclub, headlining over venerable New York rap trio De La Soul. Of course, Z-Trip also makes original music in addition to the alchemic combinations of rap and rock he spins live; he's working on his next full-length album, snippets of which might be teased out during this performance.
