One of the most enduring local holiday traditions is the annual show presented by Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir at Slim's, a San Francisco club that has seen its fair share of the blasphemous and irreverent. Under the artistic direction of Terrance Kelly, the multiracial and multifaith assembly possesses a very versatile style — the choir has contributed to albums from artists as diverse as Linda Ronstadt and MC Hammer.
