Every year, late December brings cold weather, rampant consumerism, recreational gluttony, and — thankfully — Parker Gibbs' Annual Holiday Craptacular. It's an SF Food Bank benefit that draws the city's drinking classes out of their wintry caves for a night of merrymaking, liquid cheer, and local music. On the bill this year are such songwriting luminaries as Mark Eitzel and Kelley Stoltz, whose mellow, tuneful erudition will be just the antidote for crap weather, crap Christmas music, and crap-piles of credit-card debt. Headlining as always are Marc and the Casuals, but there are bound to be lots of surprises — and not of the fruitcake sort.
