For 11 years, the annual Sea of Dreams party has assembled a program of live music, DJs, dancers, and art, plus some of the choicest people-watching this side of Burning Man. But this year's lineup of performers and DJs is more expansive, and should draw even revelers who don't play in the dust. Some likely highlights include Amon Tobin's ISAM, a mind-blowing optical illusion of large three-dimensional projections set to darkly restless techno; Portland's MarchFourth Marching Band and Oakland's Beats Antique, which should provide balancing levity as well as eye candy; and Philadelphia singer/producer Santigold, who rides the intersection of indie, funk, and electro with fascinating ease.
