Murk: Show Preview

First it was "fuck art, let's dance." Then came "fuck dance, let's art." Now it seems a compromise has been made with Arts&Beats, a new party that features the work of over 50 visual artists presented alongside an impressively curated roster of DJs. Headlining the proceedings is Murk, Florida's legendary house production outfit. The work that Oscar G and Ralph Falcon released under this moniker starting in the mid '90s indelibly affected club culture, with such classics as "Some Lovin'," "Been a Long Time," and their remix of Madonna's "Fever" merely the tip of the iceberg. This is your chance to catch Murk with something arty on the side, as they play together on the West Coast for the first time in eight years.
