Diplo has no trouble keeping himself occupied. In 2012, the prolific DJ and producer born Thomas Wesley Pentz worked with Snoop Lion, oversaw Major Lazer as its remaining original member (a second album is forthcoming), toured with Skrillex and Grimes across Canada by train, worked with Usher on his single "Climax," and released an EP called Express Yourself. As if that weren't a full itinerary, he tweeted on Dec. 4 that he had finished collaborating with "Gangnam Style" supernova PSY and rapper 2 Chainz on an upcoming project. He closes out the busy year as a headliner of Eye Heart SF's Wintersalt Fest — a new two-day event stuffed with club-friendly sounds from Travis Barker and Mix Master Mike, Zedd, DJ Shadow, Theophilus London, Dillon Francis, Paper Diamond, and several others.
