One of the things we love about San Francisco is its delightful randomness. On any given night you might stumble across acrobats wall-dancing off the Women’s Building, puppet fellatio at a Circus Finelli show, or a womb-shaped art installation that invites you to be “reborn.” In homage to our city’s uniqueness, here are a few events to whet your adventitious appetites. Feeling knotty? Try your hand at Bonds of Love(bondage-erotique.com, $75) an introductory workshop that aims to school you on the finer points of Japanese rope bondage. When was the last time you put those merit badge skills to work, anyway? If drinking for charity is more your bag, and you prefer to do it in the most comfortable way possible, look no further than the Snuggie Pub Crawl(eventbrite.com, $5-$10). Attendees are dressing down and hitting Polk Street in Snuggies, Slankets, and other “wearable blanket” knock-offs, with prizes going to the most creative alterations and, of course, the “sexiest.” Proceeds go to the nonprofit Ski Duck. For family-friendly fun, look to Louis Pearl’s World’s Funniest Bubble Show. Pearl has been performing bubble feats for over 30 years, and can turn a little water and air into flying saucers, squares, bubbles inside bubbles, fog-filled bubbles, bubble volcanoes, tornadoes, and even trampolines. Pop by and be wowed.
