The exit of original Pennywise vocalist Jim Lindberg in 2009 devastated many a skate-punk fan. But it was the ensuing public feud between Lindberg and guitarist Fletcher Dragge that made it clear that future reconciliation would be impossible. Or so we thought. Ex-Ignite frontman Zoli Téglás did a fine job filling Lindberg's shoes the last few years, but in January anti-establishment punkers everywhere were stunned and elated to see Lindberg rejoin Pennywise for the band's 25th anniversary. This week sees Pennywise's first S.F. show since reuniting. The fact that fellow Orange County old-schoolers Death by Stereo and local pop-punk legends Lagwagon are also on the bill makes it even more of a must-see. Expect nostalgia — and circle pits.
