So, he creates a story around himself to stave off total despair. I can relate. I told him about Ray Bradbury, and how he used his surroundings to come up with plots. He didn't know who Ray Bradbury was. Also, he had never been to Van Kleef's before and wasn't sure how he felt about all the stuff. "I usually go to Tully's but I needed something stronger today," he said.

Now I bet that's a story.
