I guess I can live with the world moving over to streaming services, except for the fact that major label politics (and minor label powerlessness) prevent many releases from appearing on streaming services until weeks or months after they're released. Some major artists don't have their catalog on them at all (like Peter Gabriel, I discovered recently). Until such time as I can ACTUALLY listen to EVERYTHING on Spotify or Rdio or whatever,, I'll be sticking with my iPod, because it has everything I like on it. Streaming services are great for exploration, checking out new things, and are disposably priced, which is perfect. But it's a long way from being the only (or even primary) way I listen to music.
(You can tell I'm old because I didn't say "What's an iPod? I just go to YouTube for everything.")
