For many practicing Catholics, Good Friday is a time for fasting, prayer, and reflection. For the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and Bad Flower Productions, it's a good day for a sing-along. The two groups will reflect in their own way by hosting the Third Annual Sing Along Jesus Christ Superstar, which is the first of the Sisters' traditional Easter weekend events. Also on the bill with Superstar is the second annual Chunky Jesus contest for all of the "hot and chubby Jesus wannabes." Hosts for the evening are local transgender musician StormMiguel Florez and Sister Connie Pinko. And in the spirit of Christian giving, the sing-along is held for a good cause. Proceeds benefit the Trans March, one of the largest Transgender events in the world, which happens every year on the Friday before Pride.
