I recently saw Each and Every Thing at the Marsh and was rather surprised by this review. There is one scene in which a joint is smoked and Hoyle never travels to Nigeria or does a scene about Nigeria--that was his previous play, Tings dey Happen.
I was very moved by Each and Every Thing. It is a nuanced and timely look at human connection in the digital age, with in depth characters and funny songs that critique our increasing dependence on screens. It is far from "the roommate play inspired by drug-induced chatter" that this review mistakenly paints it as.
