Over the last 10 years, as the premier hot glass non-profit in San Francisco, Public glass has been a destination for students and artists from around the world who want to learn more or practice their art. The facility is open to the public during office hours. Learn more about Public Glass by visiting the different pages on this website and stop by for a visit soon.

Mark Abildgaard – Lecture and Demo at Public Glass on December 13th.
12-6pm
Mark has been making glass sculpture for over twenty years using kiln-casting techniques. After teaching a class at Pilchuck in 2006 his interest in blown glass was re-ignited. Mark has started to use blown glass elements and steel to create new sculptures which have he has been able to use for public art commissions. Join Mark and Public Glass for a lecture and interactive demo where Mark and PG volunteers can work together to make blown elements for my latest project.
