Out front, lemons, oranges, pineapples, strawberries, and -- when in season -- fresh sweet cherries beckon to the passing herbivore. Inside, rows of bell peppers, zucchini, asparagus, and spinach -- not to mention celery, carrots, mushrooms, avocados, three kinds of tomatoes, even more kinds of potatoes, onions, leeks, broccoli, and Italian eggplant -- put the N in "Nice roughage!" Besides all this garden bounty, there are more breads than you can shake a hearth at, organic vegetable broth, yogurt, fresh ground coffee -- we could go on and on. But, in the end, one thing stands out: As you exchange your money for a sack of wholesome goodness, you will as often as not receive a smile in return, the healthiest thing of all.
