El Farolito
Not that you would, but you could ... have a burrito with sesos (aka beef brains) or lengua (tongue) at El Farolito, the best of the burrito bunch adjacent to the 24th Street BART station. Even with some of the top Mission District Mexican food just steps away, diners seem to be perpetually lining up inside this somewhat cramped, less than sparkling hole in the wall. Why? It might be the aromas of fresh grilled steak and chopped onions wafting over the counter; could be the "super burritos" as thick as one of Jason Giambi's forearms; or, perhaps, it's the gastronomic spectacle of a mound of nachos doused in refried beans, hot salsa, and huge chunks of marinated chicken.
