While the return of chef James Ormsby to Bruno's is some of the most exciting news to hit the Mission since Ormsby first helped revive the place back in 1995, the thing that really stands out at this swank jazz and supper club is the drink list. Sometimes, a place will offer 10 or even 20 house cocktails, but we don't know anyone who lists a whopping 72 and delivers as splendidly as Bruno's. The beauty of this list is that it reminds you that, instead of a Cosmo-as-usual, what you're really in the mood for is an Apple Car, a Bullfrog, a French 75, or (if you take our advice) an exquisitely delicate, bittersweet Blood Orange. Or, if you're really in a drinking mood, bring some friends (and lots of money) and try them all!
