We don't love playing pinball at Thalassa because of the variety -- you can find more pinball games at Pier 39. No, we love Thalassa because of the quality of its four games. Any pinball aficionado knows that if a game's ramps, lights, and other gimmicks don't work, the pinball experience, well, sucks. But Thalassa's pinball games, maintained by a mysterious gent who calls himself "Beat the Wizard," are some of the best in the Bay Area. Whether we want to Kill Kenny in a game of South Park or save the free world from Martians in Attack From Mars, we have Mr. Wizard to thank for pinball nirvana.
