Designed in the ancient tradition of Japanese public baths, the facilities offer a hot and a cold pool, a dry sauna, a steam room, and more than a dozen treatment rooms where would-be couples can indulge in shiatsu or Swedish massage, facials, seaweed wraps, acupuncture, and other services. The bathing ritual begins with a sit-down shower, followed by your choice of steam room or dry sauna, and perhaps a soak in the hot tub. After you've sweated out your toxins, sample the amenities, including herbal teas, sea salts, cucumber slices for sore eyes, and communal locker rooms equipped with perfume, mouthwash, and plenty of opportunities to sneak a peek.
