And the best item on the morning menu is Peter's Favorite Breakfast Sandwich (OK, we're duty-bound to mention that it's named in honor of Peter Byrne, SF Weekly staff writer and quasi-vegan). It's made from egg whites scrambled with spinach and mushrooms and served inside a tasty, toasted English muffin. It's a very healthy way to start the day. Stix also has the best breakfast oatmeal in town: piping hot and brimming with bananas, walnuts, brown sugar, and raisins.
