But Frederica Lofquist manages to stand out even in that kind of company. She has a knack for remembering names and personal info, even though many of her patients see her only once a year. She never makes you feel as though she has other clients waiting, taking time to catch up like you're old friends before beginning the exam. In addition to having a sterling bedside manner, she keeps up with the latest developments in medicine, explains things clearly, and has exceptional diagnostic skills. Finally, she's happy to recommend other physicians. Need a dermatologist? A dentist? A counselor who specializes in pregnancy issues (e.g., surrogate mothers)? Dr. Lofquist knows a good one, and she wants to share that information with you. What it comes down to is, she cares. We like her so much we (almost) wish we needed to visit the doctor more often.
