We can already hear the screeching about how this is a -- dare we say it -- chain store. Sorry, folks, but it's also a much better place to stock your apartment than any other we've run across. Here's why: The store makes sense. It carries exactly what you need, from shower curtains to lemon zesters to tweezers, all at good prices. They even have free parking. Don't look for trendy or high-end accessories here, because you won't find them (frankly, we'd like to see a better selection of bedding designs, but you can't have everything). And you'll have to stock up on paper goods somewhere else. But for a good selection of affordable housewares in a convenient location, it's Bed, Bath and Beyond.
