With a dozen satellite dishes, 20 televisions, and all the requisite DIRECTV sports packages, the Kezar, located near the stadium that once housed the 49ers before their tumble to the bottom of the football food chain, is a sports fanatic's paradise. Naturally, the pub has its bases covered: football, basketball, baseball, and (theoretically) hockey on tap for domestic patrons, soccer and rugby for the U.K. crowd. And if watching the games isn't enough to satisfy your appetite for competition, put your skills to the test on the Kezar's pool tables and dartboards, located in its spacious back room. The pub grub is first rate -- the meaty buffalo wings are among the finest the city has to offer -- and with a wide variety of draft beers, nobody's likely to go thirsty. Do get there early during the football season: Sunday mornings are jampacked with Niners fans, leaving late arrivals to scramble for empty seats.
