Wave Organ

Constructed with a mishmash of PVC pipes and granite and marble reclaimed from an abandoned cemetery, the Wave Organ may be the most unusual musical instrument this side of Mars. Built by the folks responsible for the Exploratorium, it consists of a number of underwater pipes that echo and hum with the changing tide. Or at least it once did. Years of sand have shoaled up the works, reducing the Wave Organ to a mostly visual curiosity, but one well worth the hike past the Yacht Club to the tip of the breakwater that protects the marina.
