Mi Ranchito, formerly known as L&M Produce Market, is where sensible people are picking up mushrooms (two pounds for a buck), bananas (three pounds for a buck), oranges (five pounds for a buck), eggs ($1.99 a carton) and ... need we go on? For the past several months, the new management has been revamping the store and bringing in the goods from just south of San Francisco. So don't be a grocery snob. Your fancy Whole Foods tomato isn't impressing anyone. There are piles and piles of ripe, glistening fruits and vegetables just waiting to land in your unpretentious salad.
