Sounds like a cool place. And yeah, sometimes it's better to be out of the spotlight and just unwind in a place like Terry's. A relaxing drink does wonders to a weary and tired soul.

Terry's Lodge
No windows, aside from gun-slit-like rectangles? Presence barely noted by a weak-wattage, if strong-willed ancient green neon sign? Strong pours, no BS, and no frills? Check, check, and mate: This Inner Sunset treasure may have the exterior ambiance of a poorly lit bunker, yet inside are bar games, sports on TV, and little else to distract from the task at hand. Unlike the faux dives stocked with preening pretenders more worried about their wardrobes than their livers, Terry's is built for folks who are interested in the contents of their glasses first and foremost, miles away from the be-seen scene. From its classic postwar tile floor to its vintage tiled ceiling, Terry's is no joke.
