We imagine that in college, Gavin Newsom was chief of the Cherokee fade – you know, when someone drinks too much and leaves a party without saying goodbye to anyone. The former mayor, known for dashing away to Hawaii unbeknownst to his staff, then dashed away from his job as mayor to take up the position as the state Lieutenant Governor in Sacramento, where he reportedly often dashes off to God knows where.
