UPDATE, 2:30 p.m.: SHN reported at 1:45 p.m. Monday that presale tickets were sold out. Tickets will be available to the general public on Dec. 12.

Hamilton fans had to prove their love—and their patience—on Monday, as thousands of people with American Express cards queued up for presale tickets to the San Francisco show online. As of 1:30 p.m. over 90,000 people were ahead of us. Somehow the ticket site has managed to stay up despite the heavy traffic.

The good news is chances of actually getting in to the show are not impossible, as the Tony-winning musical will have a long run at SHN, from March 10 to Aug. 15 2017.

Tickets purchased from SHN are $100-$197 for regular performances and go for as much as $524 for select premium seating. Tickets on StubHub however, are going for $1,800 a pop.

If you’re not having success purchasing tickets online, you can line up in person on Dec. 12 at 10 a.m., when they will be available at the SHN Orpheum box office at 1192 Market St. in San Francisco.
