Friday Castro Bar Crawl to Benefit the Trevor Project

On Friday, 13 bars and restaurants in the Castro and Upper Market will give a percentage of their sales to the Trevor Project, a national organization that aims to prevent suicide among queer youth.

It's part of a larger effort called Bar One, with events running through March and into April, says organizer Lord Martine. The money donated from Friday's bar crawl will go specifically to fund a small phone bank in the Castro Street space formerly occupied by Harvey Milk's camera store and now rented by the Human Rights Campaign.
