Your Politically Jubilant Faux-Summer Jam

Bloodless revolutions make us feel like wearing pretty sundresses and dancing in the sun! Today's peaceful power-change in Egypt naturally reminded us of South Africa, partly because yesterday was the 31st anniversary of Nelson Mandela's release from prison. Al-Jazeera reporters keep saying Egyptians “don't want to look at the fine print” that is, yes, attached to Hosni Mubarak's resignation. We say give the country, and the world, a day or two to party, or you're the worst killjoy ever. But we can dance to smart, hot ska from the time when two-tone meant something, and to a song that helped get Mandela out of jail.
