Since you probably only have a vague recollection of what happened at the last S.F. Cocktail Week, allow us to massage the portion of your brain that might still be soaked with alcohol. San Francisco Cocktail Week is a sprawling celebration of the city's cocktail culture, with seminars, demonstrations, competitions, bar crawls, something organizers call “historically inspired, booze laden, literary explorations,” and parties. Oh, the parties!
Moved from May to September this year to avoid conflicts with the Manhattan Cocktail Classic, it promises to be a week you'll attempt to remember, especially with new additions Comstock Saloon, the Burritt Room, and Bar Agricole. Festivities commence at San Francisco's official new cocktail center, the Boothby, which will also serve as the Cocktail Week's hub. Events go down Sept. 21-27.
