People flock to PPQ for bun and phớ, the twin towers of Vietnamese comfort food, but the most daring item on the menu might actually be a beverage. Soda sữa hột gà, or egg yolk soda, is the closest you can come to slurping liquid custard. It's a simple blend of yolk, sweetened condensed milk, and club soda that yields a fizzy faux shake. The soda helps pad the tummy for the first two bursts of extreme dairy, so it's not like drinking raw eggs Rocky style. This is the way we indulge our inner athlete.
