Look at the picture: We have no idea if that sandwich of house-cured pastrami (smoked over fig wood we suspect came from Knoll Farms in Brentwood) will be on the daily changing menu today at Kitchenette and its Mission sibling, Heart. Frankly, we don't care, since we're confident that aficionados of the sandwich will find something glowing with roughly equal technical bravura and sourcing diligence. It's all about trust. Plus, well — we like the cookies.
