Founded earlier this year by comedians Ryan Cronin and Bert DiVietri, DWTS is Saturday Night Live meets Funny or Die meets Wednesday night in San Francisco.

The troupe features the exemplary and unique talents of improvisers Blake Rosier and Matt Rath, stand-up staples Stephen Ku, Dash Kwiatkowski, Seamus Calder, and Alex Lindo, a variety of guests each month, and Cronin and DiVietri. Each show mixes video, live sketches, and stand-up. This eclectic group of both young and seasoned performers all bring their own unique views, talents, and humor to the show, ensuring there will always be something for everyone.

The variety show has been filling seats at Stage Werx Theater in the Mission, and this month it moves to The Marsh Theater in Berkeley. Tonight Don't Watch This Show - LIVE! teams up with The Marsh's Comedy Happy Hour producer Mike Spiegelman for a FREE 6 p.m. show. Spiegelman will open with a special one-man sketch we're sure you won't want to miss.

The comedy group was recently honored to be accepted into SF Sketchfest 2013, where they'll join the lineup with some of the nation's top performers and the best up-and-comers in the comedy industry. The official lineup and schedule will be announced soon.

Don't Watch This Show - LIVE! at Comedy Happy Hour starts Wednesday, Dec. 12 at 6 p.m. at The Marsh Theater, 2120 Allston (at Shattuck), Berkeley. There's no cover, and the theater has a bar, so pop in after work and enjoy an especially hilarious happy hour tonight.

Awkward Silence is a weekly column covering local stand-up comedy in San Francisco.

The San Francisco Street Food Festival was another success this year. Dozens of vendors with original, unheard-of creations, such as deep fried mac and cheese on a stick, black pea paste pancakes, and Korean quesadillas. Then there was the comfort foods we've grown accustomed to, like creme bruleé, shrimp rolls, and pound cake. Photographs by Mabel Jimenez.
