Have you seen the artistic mobiles popping up around the city?

These guerrilla street-art installations have been spotted everywhere from the Haight to Hayes Valley to the Castro, according to neighborhood blog Haighteration.

Spinning in the breeze while hanging from light poles or dangling from windows, there's no way of knowing if it's just one clever artist, or if one artist inspired another. Each mobile has it's own slant, from legos, to pink triangles, to mini toy people and pride flags. If you spot one, send the picture to us and we'll add it to this post.

The San Francisco Street Food Festival was another success this year. Dozens of vendors with original, unheard-of creations, such as deep fried mac and cheese on a stick, black pea paste pancakes, and Korean quesadillas. Then there was the comfort foods we've grown accustomed to, like creme bruleé, shrimp rolls, and pound cake. Photographs by Mabel Jimenez.
