In response to the public harassment and persecution the Russian LGBT community has faced since the passing of anti-gay laws in Russia last year, Blowkiss Russia, a non-profit advocacy campaign, amplifies the public's outcry for equal rights.

Since the commencement of the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics, Blowkiss Russia traveled across three cities to show support of equal love through their video and social media campaign #blowkissrussia. Mishka the bear, walks through the streets of Stockholm, New York City, and San Francisco, wielding a sign that reads, "BLOW A KISS AND SUPPORT THE RIGHT TO LOVE WHOEVER YOU WANT," encouraging passersby to blow a kiss into the camera. According to their Facebook page, the group attempts to voice the opinions of the public, and is about supporting equal love.

In the final installment to the three video series Mishka travels to Golden Gate Bridge, Ocean Beach, Alamo Square, Civic Center, the Castro and Haight Ashbury among other spots in San Francisco. As we would expect, the bear is welcomed by the San Francisco community as members blow kisses freely and willingly.

Check out the video below.

The Blowkiss Russia campaign asks the community to post videos and photos of people blowing kisses in support of equal love using #blowkissrussia.
