In our quest to conquer most of the major technologies of the 20th century, SF Weekly is branching out into radio. Internet radio, to be precise, because we won't have the FCC cracking down on our ability to swear.
Starting last Sunday and running every other Sunday, the staff of SF Weekly will host a show on BFF.fm. We'll cover news, arts, music, and food. We'll talk about the current and upcoming issues, we'll talk about all the behind-the-scenes stuff that you hardly knew you were craving.
Staff writer Joe Eskenazi will talk news and no doubt fill your heart with rage at Muni's latest. Food & Drink Editor Anna Roth will teach us how to eat. We'll walk through what makes an issue work, and what got left behind. And Music Editor Ian S. Port will tie it all together with a playlist of bands coming through San Francisco.
Check out the first episode here, in which we talk about our Best of San Francisco issue (and make sure to get tickets for the Best Of party at Public Works this Wednesday. The second episode will air Sunday, May 18 from 6 to 8 p.m.
