There's something intriguing about two "robot-spacemen" who are famous for their beats, yet, sans suits, can pass people on the street and be unrecognizable*. (*This is of course if you don't look up what Daft Punk really looks like.)

It's this mysterious aspect of Daft Punk, and the fact he he's a large fan of the French music duo, that led curator and gallery owner Luke Lombardo to create a Daft Punk art show.

"I have been in big fan of Daft Punk since 2001 and actually started planning last years show before I knew they were releasing a new album [Random Access Memories]" says Lombardo.

And if you attended the Daft Punk art show last year, you'll remember the line around the block to get into the Gauntlet Gallery. If you didn't make it, well good news --- you can check out Daft Punk Deux this weekend!

The opening night on Saturday from 7-10 p.m. will feature over 60 original works from over 40 artists; expect to see Daft Punk paintings, sculptures, prints, and more.

Lombardo says he thinks this will become an annual show -- maybe at least one more time? We bet the show will definitely bring da funk.

The show runs from 7 p.m. on May 31 through June 24 at the Gauntlet Gallery (1040 Larkin).
