Well, now we know where the Dating Ring needs to look for dates for their lonely ladies from New York -- Lyft, BlackRock, and Salesforce.

The dating app Hinge -- where like Tinder you swipe right if you like the looks of the potential suitor/hook-up and left if you don't -- crunched their data for the Bay Area to find out where the majority of the right swipes are employed.

The overall winner was Salesforce, but when broken down along gender lines, Lyft takes the top spot for guys and LaunchSquad (a tech PR firm) is the top spot for attractive ladies.

Looking at the companies represented, the majority fall into the tech/apps category (makes sense that they're using apps for dating), and people who work with the general public in sales, PR, and retail roles. And while Hinge's info about the most attractive workforce doesn't say this, we're going to hope that those using this app truly are single. So these are the 15 best-looking-single-young-people-who-like-to-use-apps-for-hookups-and-are-employed companies.

And, if you work at one of the below places, take a good, long look around you. That's as good as it gets for the app-based dating scene in San Francisco.

The top companies (overall):

1. Salesforce

2. BlackRock

3. Lyft

4. Bain & Company

5. Stanford University

6. Dropbox

7. Yelp

8. Demandforce

9. PwC

10. Google

11. LinkedIn

12. Twitter

13. McKinsey & Company

14. Box

15. Cisco Systems

To see it broken down along gender lines, check out those lists on the Hinge site.
