The United States is consumed with futbol World Cup fever and sadly, the US soccer team is out of the competition by Belgium's 2-1 victory yesterday -- a bummer day for those hopefuls who tune into soccer every four years. So the United States may not be bringing home the coveted golden cup, but Crunch Fitness is now offering the chance for you to have your own trophy body -- Brazilian style.

Brazil is often associated with supermodel citizens equipped with amazingly toned and chiseled physiques. And so on the heels of the budding World Cup fever, we took the new Brazilian workout class. This new 45-minute class involves cardio, weight training, and of course, samba dancing.

Although this new class could seem to be a cheap gimmick to tap into World Cup fandom, Crunch says this class will continue to be offered because it takes elements from Brazilian dance and combines them with exercise routines to target specif body parts (abs and tush mostly) with only two sets of weights and a floor mat to approximate Brazilian beauty.

This class is held in an entirely mirrored room and as I walk in, I'm gawked by every eye present. I thought maybe I was wearing my shorts a little too short or my shirt was a little too tight -- or possibly, just maybe I had achieved instantaneous Brazilian sex god appeal by walking into the class.

Nope!

Those hopes were dashed when I saw my slightly pudgy self in the mirror and realized I was the only man in the class of almost 30 women. I suddenly became the object of desire and felt like the man in Eric Prydz's music video for "Call on Me." But instead of feeling threatened, I made just like that music video man and shook my Latin bon bon with the best of them.

Nothing was holding me back as I let everything out. There were dancing routines that involved samba footwork, hip thrusts with squats, and push ups that made my chest more sore than a woman shaking her tatas during carnival. I was sexy and I knew it. As they say, no pain no gain and beauty hurts.

But this class is more than just glorified booty shaking. There are three main part to the routine and although they read simply, they are anything but so:

1. Brazilian Cardio Blast

Cardio blast into shape with this fun core based workout filled with Brazilian moves like Samba, Capoeira and more.

2. Toning

This standing toning sequence is set to carnival inspired music, helping to transport you to Rio and get you ready to hit the beach.

3. Floor work

Unique Pilates inspired mat workout to lengthen and strengthen your body & tighten your boom boom.

Try it out for yourselves but if you are not a member of Crunch or don't feel up to the challenge, there are plenty of Brazilian or Brazilian-themed tunes out there for you to shake your bon bon along in the comfort of your own home. Here are a few for your dancing pleasure and good luck in getting that Brazilian beach body, or as Brazilian says: Boa Sorte Pra Voce.

1. Michel Teló - Ai Se Eu Te Pego

2. Gusttavo Lima - Balada (Tchê tcherere tchê tchê)

3. Ivete Sangalo & Gilberto Gil - CEÚ DA BOCA

4. Xuxa - Ilariê

5. Vengaboys - To Brazil!

6. DJ Naldo - Exagerado
