Way back in September, you made some grandiose announcement you'd be cooking Thanksgiving this year. Now, two days out, you're freaking, imagining a Turkey Day eve spent fishing a rock-solid Butterball out of the Safeway freezer bin. Relax. SFoodie's offering last-minute suggestions even an obsessive procrastinator could be thankful for.

Butterfly (Pier 33 on the Embarcadero) is putting an Asian fusion-y twist on Norman Rockwell. Butterfly's four course, $45 T-day dinner lets you dig in for seconds. Amuse choices include king salmon, citrus salad, or an oyster duo with Bloody Mary shooter. First-course choices are curried pumpkin soup or pear and endive salad with Hawaiian bread and Roaring 40's blue cheese muffin. Entrees: wood-oven-roasted Diestel turkey breast, or decadent duck-fat-fried turkey leg, with cornbread and Canadian bacon pudding, twice-baked potatoes, and other sides (look over the entire menu here). Three-way dessert (yes, you can have it all) includes pumpkin tart, chocolate pecan bar, and apple turnover with Mitchell's vanilla ice cream. Dinner starts at 5 p.m. Call Butterfly at 864-8999, or swing by OpenTable.
